GRADUATE SCHEME IN SOCIAL WELFARE STUDY PROGRAM

The Social Welfare Study Program has adjusted its graduation scheme to the Regulation of the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) which provides flexibility for students to choose the path of study completion. In addition to the thesis as the main requirement for graduation, students also have the option to convert scientific work into accredited journal publications as a substitute for the thesis.

In accordance with DIKTI Regulation Number 44 of 2015 concerning National Higher Education Standards, undergraduate students are given the opportunity to produce scientific work that can be published in scientific journals as a form of recognition of academic abilities equivalent to a thesis. By referring to this regulation, the Social Welfare Study Program encourages students to produce quality research and can contribute significantly to the development of science through publications in accredited journals.

Through this scheme, students who successfully publish their scientific work in recognized journals can convert it as a graduation requirement, which not only facilitates the graduation process, but also raises their academic profile at the national and international levels. This approach is in line with DIKTI's vision to improve scientific productivity and graduate quality in higher education.
