SUPPORTING FACILITIES FOR SOCIAL WELFARE STUDY PROGRAMS

SUPPORTING FACILITIES FOR SOCIAL WELFARE STUDY PROGRAM

Lecture and meeting facilities in GKB 1 Social Welfare Study Program. UMM also provides WiFi and internet hotspots throughout the GKB area. This facility supports lecture activities, student discussions, research, and academic activities or even other student activities. In addition, it is also facilitated with two elevators, which are also equipped with wheelchair lanes for students with special needs. UMM provides prayer rooms, quiet rooms, breastfeeding rooms, and toilets in each building.

The Social Welfare Study Program provides facilities to support academic activities through the Social Welfare Study Program Laboratory. This laboratory serves as a practicum and simulation facility to deepen students' understanding of social welfare science. This facility allows students to practice the theories they have learned in an atmosphere that is close to real conditions, such as in social intervention, counseling, and case assessment.

The laboratory is equipped with supporting equipment and technology, and supported by experienced lecturers and practitioners, so that students can develop their technical and analytical skills. The facilities also assist in training in social policy making, welfare program development, and research in social welfare.

These facilities are designed to enhance students' well-being and experience on campus, helping to create an environment that supports a balance between academics, physical, mental and spiritual health.
