MBKM SOCIAL WELFARE STUDY PROGRAM

The Social Welfare Study Program has designed a curriculum, in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) policy No. 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards by including the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program. This study program offers a curriculum with a portion of 51% theory and 49% practice. In line with the implementation of the MBKM (Learning on Independent Campus) program at UMM, starting in 2021, students can take courses in other study programs with a maximum of 20 credits, and also in other universities with a maximum of 40 credits. The number of credits will later be converted to courses in the study program curriculum. The convention of the minimum total number of credits to graduate is 144, which is in accordance with the nomenclature of DIKTI (Directorate of Higher Education), regarding the convention of the number of credits for undergraduate degrees. In addition, related to postgraduate degrees, it is adjusted to the nomenclature of DIKTI (Directorate of Higher Education) regarding the determination of degrees and study periods.
