COOPERATION OF SOCIAL WELFARE STUDY PROGRAMS

The Social Welfare Study Program collaborates with more than 10 technical service units in the social welfare regional office in East Java Province. The Social Welfare Study Program also collaborates with several NGOs or other private institutions to equip students with skills. The forms of cooperation include internships and practicum for students starting from semester 3 - 7. These internships and practicum activities aim to apply the knowledge and skills that have been obtained in learning. Carrying out comparative study activities to overseas institutions such as the Malaysian Department of Social Welfare or Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) and an institution under the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development called Institut Sosial Malaysia (ISM). All these activities aim to strengthen the network and broaden the students' horizons. Not only that, but there are also our international collaborations with USM and UKM - student sit-ins and practicums, research collaborations, visiting professors, and guest lectures. Both parties work together to organize The International Student Conference of Social Work (ISCSW).
