Bandung, August 5, 2024 - The Social Welfare Study Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) has agreed to collaborate with the international NGO Filantra. This collaboration aims to strengthen and expand the Social Welfare Study Program's relations, especially in supporting Center of Excellence (CoE) #2 and providing more practicum and internship opportunities for students.
This collaboration is expected to improve the quality of education and practical experience of students through collaboration with Filantra, which has a global reputation in the field of community assistance and empowerment. Through this collaboration, students will have the opportunity to be involved in Filantra's various social programs and projects so as to enrich their knowledge and skills in the field of community empowerment.
Filantra highly welcomes this collaboration and expresses its hope to be able to contribute to the development of UMM students through existing programs. With this collaboration, it is hoped that UMM Social Welfare Study Program students can develop competencies and be ready to enter the world of work in the fields of community empowerment.
This collaborative effort is part of the Social Welfare Study Program to continue to improve the quality of education through networks that are relevant to practice in the fields of social welfare.
